In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 78-26 triumph over the Highland Tech Rams.

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Langtree Charter Academy Lions (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Highland Tech will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
