The Knights now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Pamlico County for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. Riverside-Martin will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 97-4 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-9.
With the loss, Gates County falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Red barons host Camden County (Camden, NC) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 3-2.
