The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Akron Rams (Akron, CO) and the host Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO), observed Akron's basketball team knock off Sedgwick County by a score of 58-47.

The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Merino (Merino, CO). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Merino was outscored by Wiggins (Wiggins, CO), 56-54, in a non-league battle.
