In Friday's non-league test, the Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) basketball squad defeated the host Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ), by a final score of 64-52.

Next, the Thunderbirds clash with the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate (Henderson, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 19. Mohave will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Pirate come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 100-76 non-league win over Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV).

The Knights (2-8) will now prepare for their bout against Independence (Glendale, AZ). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 7-3 record.
