With the victory, West Iredell betters its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 27. The Wolverines go into the contest with a record of 2-6. West Cabarrus lost 69-59 in their recent league contest against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A match, on Monday, December 22. Maiden will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 75-36 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC).
