In Friday's non-league test, the Nucla Mustangs (Nucla, CO) basketball squad trounced the host Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO), by a score of 52-29.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 20. Nucla will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Buckaroo come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 63-41 non-league loss to Piute (Junction, UT).

The Miners (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Dove Creek was routed by Rangely (Rangely, CO), 45-27, in a non-league bout.
