New Mexico High School Basketball - Capitan trounced by Ruidoso
December 19, 2025: Capitan, NM 88316 Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM), 62-26 in a non-league contest.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Dora smashed Dexter (Dexter, NM), 47-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 20. Capitan will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 39-37 non-league win over Cliff (Cliff, NM).
