New Mexico High School Basketball - Cliff holds off Dexter
December 19, 2025: Cliff, NM 88028 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls basketball team scored a close 36-32 triumph over the Dexter Demons.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cloudcroft for a non-league game on Saturday, December 20. Cliff will confront a Bears team coming off a 53-36 non-league loss to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM). The Bears record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Dexter falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Mountainair (Mountainair, NM) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-6. Mountainair lost 56-55 in their recent non-league game against Capitan (Capitan, NM)
