In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored a close 56-51 triumph over the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls.

The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Terry Sanford nipped Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC), 89-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Golden Bulls battle the Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 20. E.E. Smith will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record.
