The Tri-Point Chargers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Clifton Central Comets to 41 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri-Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Tri-Point will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-18 league loss to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.

The Comets (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Wilmington was defeated by Coal City (Coal City, IL), 46-43, in a league contest.
