Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) and the visiting Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE), saw North Platte's basketball squad hold off Millard West by a tally of 41-40.

With the victory, North Platte improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to confront the SkyHawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 10. The SkyHawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Millard West will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 68-64 non-league loss to Pius X (Lincoln, NE).
