Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), saw Millard West's basketball squad wallop Grand Island by a tally of 61-16.

With the victory, Millard West improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE) to confront the Thunderbirds in a A District TBD challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 10-2.

Next up, the Islanders confront the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Friday, January 21. Grand Island will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
