The Superior Spartans basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Princeton Tigers to 37 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eau Claire Memorial for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Superior will meet a Old Abes team coming off a 62-39 league win over Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI). The Old Abes record now stands at 2-1.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Lumberjacks enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Cloquet nudged Esko (Esko, MN), 68-54, in a non-league contest.
