The Superior Spartans basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Hermantown Hawks to 50 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eau Claire North for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Superior will meet a Huskies team coming off a 74-45 league loss to Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Huskies record now stands at 7-9.

The Hawks (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia (Virginia, MN). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record.
