Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), 66-9 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Purnell Swett upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 3. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Pinecrest won 34-33 in their recent non-league bout against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 3. Red Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
