Alabama High School Basketball - Oak Mountain fells Helena
December 2, 2021: Helena, AL 35080 Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Helena Huskies (Helena, AL), 27-18 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oak Mountain upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 3. Helena will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 44-35 non-league win over Huffman (Birmingham, AL).
