Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL), 49-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley Head upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
