Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Armstrong tops Grove City
December 2, 2022: Kittanning, PA 16201 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) and the visiting Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), saw Armstrong's basketball squad knock off Grove City by a count of 55-35.
With the victory, Armstrong upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The River Hawks travel to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Kiski Area won 61-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Geibel Catholic Gators (Connellsville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Grove City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA).
