Iowa High School Basketball - Wahlert can't hold off Assumption
December 2, 2022: Davenport, IA 52804 The Assumption Knights basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Wahlert Golden Eagles to 49 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keokuk for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Assumption will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 61-34 non-league loss to Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-1.
The Golden Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
