December 2, 2022: Kernersville, NC 27284 The Cherokee Braves basketball team (Cherokee, NC), was overwhelmed 60-20 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC)
The Villains now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Community School of Davidson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. Bishop McGuinness will confront a Spartans team coming off a 69-58 non-league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
The Braves (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Franklin trounced Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 41-36, in a non-league battle.
