In Friday's non-league outing, the Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars (Boynton Beach, FL) basketball squad felled the host Cardinal Newman Crusaders (West Palm Beach, FL), by a margin of 86-74.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Saint Andrew's (Boca Raton, FL). The Scots go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Saint Andrew's thwarted Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL), 73-68, in a non-league outing.
