North Broward Prep Eagles (Coconut Creek, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars (Boynton Beach, FL), 58-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Broward Prep upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Episcopal School of Jacksonville won 47-41 in their recent non-league bout against Palatka (Palatka, FL)
