Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mira Monte Lions (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Delano Tigers (Delano, CA), saw Mira Monte's basketball squad hold off Delano by a count of 53-50.

With the victory, Mira Monte upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Exeter (Exeter, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Exeter lost 49-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Fresno (Fresno, CA)
