Florida High School Basketball - Gulf ripped by Mitchell

December 2, 2022: New Port Richey, FL 34652

The Mitchell Mustangs basketball team scored 87 points and held the host Gulf Buccaneers to 31 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fivay for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Mitchell will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-55 league loss to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.

The Buccaneers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lecanto triumphed over Crystal River (Crystal River, FL), 95-30, in a non-league contest.
