The Martin Tigers basketball team (Laredo, TX), was nudged 52-51 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

The Sabercats now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexander for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Vela will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas come into the non-league battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Crystal City was nudged by Cigarroa (Laredo, TX), 51-49, in a non-league battle.
