The Pierce Bears basketball team (Arbuckle, CA), was nudged 61-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA)

The Patriots now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highlands for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. Pioneer will confront a Scots team coming off a 43-22 non-league loss to Delta (Clarksburg, CA). The Scots record now stands at 0-1.
