Michigan High School Basketball - Tri County Area overwhelmed by Big Rapids
December 2, 2022: Howard City, MI 49329 The Big Rapids Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Tri County Area Vikings to 27 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Springs for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Big Rapids will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 62-24 non-league loss to Grant (Grant, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Greenville triumphed over Sparta (Sparta, MI), 62-34, in a non-league contest.
