December 2, 2022: Colquitt, GA 39837 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) and the host Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA), saw Calhoun County's basketball squad wallop Miller County by a tally of 76-10.
With the victory, Calhoun County improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA) to confront the Panthers in a challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Pataula Charter Academy lost 63-3 in their recent league challenge against Mitchell County (Camilla, GA)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Terrell County Greenwave (Dawson, GA) in a A D2 Region 1A challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Miller County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 70-34 league win over Quitman County (Georgetown, GA).
