December 2, 2022: Cherryville, NC 28021

West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 62-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Lincoln upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Avery County (Newland, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Avery County lost 78-46 in their recent non-league bout against Watauga (Boone, NC)

Next up, the Ironmen clash with the Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Cherryville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 65-11 non-league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
