Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tempe Prep Knights (Tempe, AZ), 35-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gilbert Classical Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Spartans host Sequoia Pathway Academy (Maricopa, AZ) to play the Pumas in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Knights play the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Tempe Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
