December 2, 2022: Vandergrift, PA 15690 The Kiski Area Cavaliers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Knoch Knights to 38 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Armstrong for a WPIAL 5A 2 match on Saturday, December 3. Kiski Area will meet a River Hawks team coming off a 62-38 non-league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The River Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Knoch moves to 0-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Butler (Butler, PA) to meet the Golden Tornado in a non-league match on Saturday, December 3. The Golden Tornado enter the match with a record of 0-1. Butler lost 62-38 in their recent non-league match against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA)
