Virginia High School Basketball - New Covenant ripped by Covenant

December 2, 2022: Lynchburg, VA 24501

The Covenant Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the host New Covenant Gryphons to 9 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Gryphons (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the VISAA Division III contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Westover Christian Academy triumphed over Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA), 47-25, in a non-league contest.
