The New Covenant Gryphons basketball team (Lynchburg, VA), was toppled 51-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA)

The Celtics now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 18. Roanoke Catholic will confront a Eagles team coming off a 39-33 non-league loss to St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.

The Gryphons (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Ospreys come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record.
