California High School Basketball - St. Francis fells Nevada Union

St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 38-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Troubadours host El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-2. El Dorado won 31-16 in their recent non-league bout against River Valley (Yuba City, CA)

Next up, the Miners play the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-43 non-league loss to St. Francis (Sacramento, CA).
