North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky River nips Berry
December 2, 2022: Mint Hill, NC 28217 Rocky River CMS Athletics (Mint Hill, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), 46-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Rocky River upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The CMS Athletics host Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to play the Pumas in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Pumas come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Palisades won 33-32 in their recent non-league bout against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
Next up, the Cardinal play the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Berry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 65-16 non-league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC).
