The East Mecklenburg Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Berry Cardinal to 21 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22.

The Cardinal (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
