North Carolina High School Basketball - East Mecklenburg nips Cuthbertson
December 2, 2022: Waxhaw, NC 28173 East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), 51-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Cuthbertson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 48-7 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).
