North Carolina High School Basketball - Butler holds off Cuthbertson
January 11, 2023: Waxhaw, NC 28173 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) and the host Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC), saw Butler's basketball squad hold off Cuthbertson by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, Butler improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Independence (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Independence lost 47-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Cuthbertson will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
