North Carolina High School Basketball - Cuthbertson overwhelms Piedmont
January 3, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) and the host Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), saw Cuthbertson's basketball squad wallop Piedmont by a tally of 51-28.
With the victory, Cuthbertson improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-6.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
