Virginia High School Basketball - Mechanicsville holds off King William
December 2, 2022: Mechanicsville, VA 23111 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) and the visiting King William Cavaliers (King William, VA), saw Mechanicsville's basketball squad hold off King William by a tally of 49-45.
With the victory, Mechanicsville improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to King George (King George, VA) to confront the Foxes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Foxes come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. King William will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
