Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) and the visiting Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA), saw Alcovy's basketball squad hold off Eastside by a tally of 55-52.

With the victory, Alcovy improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Rockdale County (Conyers, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Rockdale County won 47-43 in their recent non-league challenge against South Cobb (Austell, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Eastside will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 73-61 non-league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
