December 2, 2023: Carlisle, AR 72024 The Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Baptist Prep Eagles (Little Rock, AR), 47-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bison (1-2) will now prepare for their test against McCrory (McCrory, AR). The Jaguars go into the 2A Region 6 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, McCrory was tipped by Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR), 49-38, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Mayflower for a 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, December 5. Baptist Prep will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 63-40 non-league loss to England (England, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
