December 2, 2023: Ira, TX 79527 Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ira Bulldogs (Ira, TX), 70-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eula upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Pirates host Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Abilene Christian won 64-51 in their recent non-league bout against Tioga (Tioga, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Robert Lee Steers (Robert Lee, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Ira will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Steers go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 45-42 non-league win over Highland (Roscoe, TX).
