Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard South nips Montini Catholic
December 2, 2023: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Glenbard South upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Upstate Eight bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-6. West Chicago lost 68-46 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
Next up, the Broncos play the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Montini Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 59-14 league loss to DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL).
