Illinois High School Basketball - Marmion nips Glenbard South
February 3, 2024: Aurora, IL 60502 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Marmion's basketball squad hold off Glenbard South by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Marmion improves its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to play the Celtics in a Chicago Catholic - White challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Celtics come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Providence Catholic won 61-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL)
Next up, the Raiders play the Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Glenbard South will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 15-11 record after their 42-40 league win over South Elgin (South Elgin, IL).
