In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Holmes Huskies basketball team scored a good 74-65 triumph over the Medina Valley Panthers.

In their next game, the Huskies meet the Warren Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 match, on Tuesday, December 5. Holmes will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 4-10 record after their 41-39 non-league loss to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX).
