Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) and the host Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX), saw Wimberley's basketball squad wallop Marion by a tally of 71-43.

With the victory, Wimberley improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Texans host Taylor (Taylor, TX) to confront the Ducks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Ducks come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Taylor lost 67-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Marion will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Bobcats/Deer come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 62-55 non-league win over Harper (Harper, TX).
