Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Three Rivers Bulldogs (Three Rivers, TX) and the visiting Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX), saw Three Rivers's basketball squad hold off Mathis by a tally of 58-53.

With the victory, Three Rivers improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Ingleside (Ingleside, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Ingleside lost 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against San Diego (San Diego, TX)
