Texas High School Basketball - Southwest Legacy nips McAllen

Southwest Legacy Titans (Von Ormy, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Legacy improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX) to confront the Unicorns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. New Braunfels won 65-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. McAllen will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
