Arkansas High School Basketball - Quitman topples Nemo Vista
December 2, 2023: Quitman, AR 72131 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) basketball squad overcame the visiting Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR), by a tally of 68-52.
With the victory, Quitman improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to play the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Red Hawks play the Wonderview Daredevils (Hattieville, AR) in a 1A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Nemo Vista will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Daredevils come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 71-63 non-league win over Lamar (Lamar, AR).
